Test Correction Policies
- Anyone may complete test corrections, and I encourage everyone to do so.
- You have one week from the day I hand back a test to complete corrections.
- You can check out your test before or after school, or during a flex period, lunch, or study. You may not take your test home.
- You can receive ¼ point for each point missed.
- Create a new document (typed or hand-written) for your corrections.
- For each question you missed, identify the correct answer and explain why that answer is correct. Please don’t explain why your initial answer was incorrect.
- If you missed points on a long answer, only correct what you got wrong - you don’t need to re-write your whole answer.
- If you missed something like a label on a diagram or a one-word fill-in-the blank type question, please still write some explanation. This could be giving a definition, a function of a part, or an example.
- Staple your corrections to your graded answer forms and turn everything in.
